Running 100 is a safe and effective way to introduce your body to aerobic activity. This class is structured such that anyone can begin to appreciate running with absolutely no prior running experience
Running 100 is designed to introduce the participant to an active lifestyle. In this class you will learn proper foot wear, basic stretching and warm up techniques as well as nutritional basics.
This class is structured in four levels of progression. We begin with Level I which is straight brisk walking and finishing with Level IV which is the most challenging level and will introduce 60-seconds of jogging. The goal for the course will be to complete a 1- Hour walk/jog.
At completion of this class the athlete will have the option to re-enroll or to advance to the next session Running 101 and prepare for a 5k run.
